 World Boxing Hall of Fame inductee Robert Byrd was a U.S. Marine Corps boxing teammate of two other guys you've definitely heard of. He spent 34 years with the California Highway Patrol. He's been the third man in the ring in more than 100 world title bouts, and will do it again May 4 when he referees Mayweather-Guerrero.

 Robert "The  Ghost" Guerrero has won three world championship belts, plus three additional interim world titles, while compiling a career record of 29-1-1, wtih 18 KOs.

 We spoke to him in-depth on the June 24, 2012 edition of The Ringside Boxing Show as he was nearing the end of his training camp in Lake Tahoe for a July 28 showtown with undefeated Euro Selcuk Aydin, an HBO fight in San Jose.

 We spoke to Guerrero about Aydin, PEDs, the top fighters in and near his weight division, and multiple other topics in a lively interview.
