Rick Farris was an amateur boxing champ who fought 19 times as a pro, was stablemates with Jerry Quarry, sparred with Roberto Duran, Alexis Arguello, Ruben Olivares, Carlos Ortiz, "Schoolboy" Bobby Chacon, Danny "Little Red" Lopez, met gangster Mickey Cohen, became a celebrated Hollywood lighting director, and founded the West Coast Boxing Hall of Fame.

Think he's got stories? You're right.

Rick Farris fought at the Olympic, trained with 12 world champions at the Main Street Gym, and spent the past 38 years working in Hollywood.

Now he's president and founder of the new West Coast Boxing Hall of Fame, which has its inaugural event coming up April 26.

The bantamweight from Burbank joined us April 5 to talk about boxers, actors and real-life mobsters in one of the most-colorful shows we've ever had.

The Rick Farris interview is preceded by our triple-threat of expert analysts, Travis Hartman, Rizwaan Zahid and John J. Raspanti, who marvel at the (KO) power surge in Canada, consider the validity of the BKB, and give us the likely winner of next week's Danny Garcia-Lamont Peterson showdown, among other hot topics.

This hour is one big Easter Basket of boxing.
