The day Kathy Duva located Arturo Gatti under a big pile of women, too drunk for the Mayweather presser ... and other amazing tales
By Dennis Taylor
During almost 40 years in boxing promotions, Kathy Duva has accrued stranger-than-fiction stories about Arturo Gatti, Vinny Pazienza, Evander Holyfield, Michael Moorer, Pernell Whitaker, Meldrick Taylor, Bob Arum, Don King, Lou Duva (her father-in-law), and countless others who have crossed her path at Main Events Promotions.
We caught up with her for a very candid, full-color, in-depth interview on The Ringside Boxing Show that is not to be missed. This is a guided tour through multiple generations of The Sweet Science, viewed not only from a front-row seat, but also with a rare peek behind the curtain. If you're a fight fan, this one is well worth your time.
Before that, we hear expert analysts Travis Hartman, Rizwaan Zahid, and John J. Raspanti analyze Billy Joe Saunders' cannon shot into the middleweight division, where Canelo, Golovkin, Jacobs, Charlo, and Andrade might be seriously rethinking how anxious they are to fight him. No fighter races to face an opponent who might make him look like a fool.
And our British correspondent, Paul McLaughlin, gives us some insight on James DeGale (reeling from his upset loss to Caleb Truax) and Conor Benn (drawing comparisons to his famous father) with his weekly report from the United Kingdom.
Dennis Taylor is host of The Ringside Boxing show, editor/publisher of www.ringsideboxingshow.com, and co-author (with John J. Raspanti) of the West Coast Boxing Hall of Fame's 2017 Book of the Year, "Intimate Warfare: The True Story of the Arturo Gatti and Micky Ward Boxing Trilogy," currently on Amazon's Bestseller list.

Boxing historian extraordinaire Christopher James Shelton unearths the long-buried tale of Allen "Junebug" Hudson, the only man in history to deck Muhammad Ali twice -- once inside the ring, and once outside.

You might be a hardcore boxing fan, but you've probably never heard this story before. Chris Shelton never fails to amaze, and this interview is yet another treasure. Enjoy!
