Actor Ryan O'Neal says most of the stuff on his website about a stellar Golden Gloves boxing career was made up by Hollywood publicity people, but as a boxing fan, he's the real deal.

The star of "Love Story," "Barry Lyndon," "Paper Moon," and the TV series "Bones" joined us Dec. 14, 2014, to reminisce about the heyday of the Olympic Auditorium, the Clay-Liston fight in Miami, sparring with Norman Mailer and Joe Frazier, and why he didn't pursue Tuesday Weld as a 19-year-old actor on the set of "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis."

This sensational interview is preceded by a lively roundtable-style discussion of the Showtime and HBO megashows (7 fights on the 2 competing networks) by expert analysts Travis Hartman, Rizwaan Zahid and John J. Raspanti.
