The world's most-diligent boxing historian, Christopher James Shelton, joined us on the May 18, 2014 edition of The Ringside Boxing Show to share the mercuiral and ultimately tragic story of Esteban de Jesus, the great Puerto Rican champion who decked Roberto Duran in two different fights, and put the first blemish on his record.

But the party scene lured de Jesus into the dark world of cocaine and heroin addictoin, a tailspin that culminated with a road-rage murder, a life sentence, and an early death from AIDS.

As always, Chris Shelton spins a fascinating and true tale with many layers. This one is a must for any boxing fan.
