Larry Merchant's commentary and analysis on HBO Championship Boxing has earned him a spot in both the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame.
Merchant also played football for Bud Wilkinson at Oklahoma, was a five-day a week columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News, and wrote for the New York Post and the Los Angeles Daily Herald in a celebrated career as a print journalist.
